ABOUT ME

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”

— Don McCullin

Hi, my name is Brian Hunting. I’m an American filmmaker with over 13 years of experience. When on set, I use all my own film and photography equipment. Countless hours of blood, sweat and tears has led to my mastery of these tools. The result: not only fine control over the visual art I create, but the realization that my passion and thirst for knowledge continues to deepen.

This passion for the visual medium all started during my early childhood, specifically in narrative films. Watching innumerable films growing up, I grew to love films that were able to combine substance and entertainment, and I knew, perhaps only subconsciously at first, that this is what I wanted to do – what I was compelled to do – with my life.

This childhood obsession subsequently led to filming and editing my first feature-length independent film, which I started in the summer of 2005 at age 19. I premiered this feature-length film at the Cosford Cinema at the University of Miami in 2010.

Since then, I have enjoyed working in all aspects of filmmaking, video production and photography – writing, directing, shooting, editing – you name it. I have created hundreds of videos and countless photos for my clients, as well as several of my own short films on spec.

My career goal remains the same today as it was decades ago: to keep learning, improving, and excelling in this exciting creative field. To dedicate myself to making, to the fullest extent and with a humble heart and an open mind, exciting, quality, and original works of art.

Please feel free to call or email me today for your free consultation. Thank you for your time, and I hope to meet you soon!
